(MOORABBIN, VIC) Traffic Control Training for Construction Workers

This course is only available to people working outside the traffic control industry. Individuals that will be working or are already within the traffic control industry will need to complete the Temporary Traffic Management training. Please contact us if you are unsure whether you are eligible to do the old Traffic Control training or if you need to complete the New Austroads Temporary Traffic management.

This Traffic Management course teaches you the skills to implement a traffic management plan and set up traffic control equipment. This course equips students with the essential skills for several industries, including civil construction, mining and drilling.

Key Elements of the training include: - Planning and Preparing traffic management plans - How to eliminate traffic hazards to protect pedestrians and workers on site - Instructions or procedures for controlling traffic - How to implement and monitor the effectiveness of a traffic management plan.

This course is a competency-based training program consisting of multiple choice quizzes, and a practical demonstration.
